How to join
Our membership package is one of the cheapest deals around. For just £25 you get a lifetime membership to Seitou Ryu Karate and 1 year’s licence/insurance cover. After that, you will need to renew your licence annually for just £10.
When you’re ready to join, download a membership application form here or pick one up in class. Once you have filled in your details, take the form along with a passport photo to your nearest dojo to register.
Once you are registered, you will be issued with a temporary attendance card whilst your membership book and licence slip is being printed, which takes around 1 – 3 weeks. This card lets you and your instructor keep track of your progress and attendance during the early weeks of your training. The temporary attendance card is to be brought into every session until you reach your first grade (yellow belt).

You are welcome to try out a few lessons before joining; all you need to train is some loose, comfortable clothing and bundles of enthusiasm!
We recommend that when you start training you attend at least twice a week, although some students train four to five times a week, it is not recommended to train more than this as you must give your body time to rest between classes. Ideally, two to three classes a week should see you progressing at a reasonable pace. |
