Club membership allows you entry to any of our training locations (dojos) throughout Essex as well as access to club events such as seminars, training camps, tournaments and equipment discounts. Our club membership includes a licence for 1 year’s insurance cover plus your first month’s training where you have unlimited classes and up to 25% discount on equipment that you might wish to purchase through the club. You get all of this for the cost of just £40 for children (under 13 years old) and £50 for teenagers and adults. Membership is renewed each year for just £15 for children and £20 for adults.
We have 3 monthly training fee options for children (5 – 12 years) and adults (13 years and older) which are listed below:

Many clubs charge around £10 or more per session, or even more in some cases. We believe that this can be excessive, especially as the average student trains 2 – 3 times a week, and more serious ones 4 – 6 times a week. By offering great value for money we want to encourage you to practice, so that you can progress further and faster in your karate.
Payments are made via direct debit* so you don’t even have to worry about bringing money to class. We also offer the flexibility to change your training fee level from month to month, so if you’re starting off training once a week and want to increase your training the following month, you can upgrade to Silver or Gold. Likewise, you can downgrade your level at any time.
For Bronze and Silver levels, if you want to do an occasional extra class (e.g. once or twice a month), then you can pay for a single class on the door; £5 (Juniors), £8 (Adults). Also, if you miss a class for whatever reason (e.g. You are away on holiday or ill), then the lessons you missed can still be used to catch up on your training provided they are used within a 1 month period. After this time, the rolled over lessons expire and can no longer be used.
We recommend that when you do start training you attend two classes a week, although some students train four to six times a week, it is not recommended to train more than this as you must give your body time to rest between classes. Ideally, two to three classes a week should see you progressing at a reasonable pace.
Private lessons are £35 per hour for 1 on 1 tuition or £50 for 2 people. These need to be booked at least 7 days in advance. Sessions can be conducted either at the students’ home or at their local dojo (Additional hall hire costs may apply)
